Coffee Recipe: Mocha Frappuccino
Inspired by Starbuck's infamous Mocha Frappuccino, I decided to make my own at home version as the weather warms up. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
¼ cup of Milk (2% Reduced Fat or Almond)
2 cups of Chocolate Flavored Dark Roast Coffee
Seya Blend from Black Acres Roastery
Coffee Tasting notes: chocolate bar and sweet berries
2 tablespoons of Sugar
2 tablespoons Chocolate Syrup
1-2 scoops of Coffee Flavored Ice Cream (or Vanilla)
Whipped Cream (as needed)
Chocolate Bar (for chocolate shavings)
Directions:
Brew 2 cups of a dark roasted coffee of your choice. (I highly recommend coffee with a chocolate or vanilla flavor. I chose the “Seya” Blend from Black Acres Roastery, which blends the flavors of chocolate and berries.)
Blend the cups of brewed coffee, milk, sugar, scoops of ice cream, and ice cubes. Blend together until you have a smoothie-like consistency. (You can freeze the coffee, milk and sugar for about 2 hours to get it firm, before blending it. This helps to provide a better consistency.)
Coat the rim of your serving glass with chocolate syrup.
Pour blended frappuccino into your serving glass.
Top with whip cream, chocolate syrup, and chocolate shavings.
Enjoy!
Sounds yummy! :)
