Welcome to the season of love! Cozy up with your loved ones with a delicious cup of iced honey rose latte. Pairs well with warm cranberry muffins.
Ingredients (1 serving)
Honey (¼ cup)
Rose water (¼ cup)
Milk (¼ cup)
Whole Coffee Beans
Rose Buds (Dried or Fresh) for garnish
Directions:
Espresso
If you are using whole beans, grind the beans using a coffee grinder. Grind about 1.5 - 2 tsp of coffee.
Pour ground coffee in moka pot (or espresso machine) and fill the bottom chamber with water. Place on stove.
Remove when boiling or you hear a whistling sound.
Honey Rose Syrup
Mix the honey, rose water, and water together in a bowl.
Pour mixture in a small saucepan on top of the stove over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Let the mixture heat until it comes to a simmer.
Latte
Put ice cubes in a cup (If you want to serve hot, then serve the espresso while hot with milk and don’t use ice.)
Pour honey over the ice, coating the bottom of the cup.
Pour in the milk.
Top with freshly brewed espresso.
Stir together.
Top with rose petals for garnish.
Enjoy!
